Elgin Youth Café offers a safe space and a wide range of free-of-charge projects and activities for all young people of secondary school age in Elgin and its surrounding areas. The project has been running since 1998, and offers young people an alternative to the pressures of alcohol, drugs, gambling and crime.
Facilities include:
A drop-in centre is open 7pm-9.30pm every Tuesday to Thursday and 7pm-10pm on Fridays offering computer games, pool, table tennis, karaoke, games and activities, drinks and snacks.
Issue-based sessions offering advice and support on a range of issues relevant to young people including drug and alcohol abuse, domestic abuse, sexual health and bullying
Delta Force, a community project which provides a team of young people to carry out services in the local area including graffiti removal and beach cleans.
