The Recovery Initiative Fund

The Recovery Initiative Fund is a new fund that offers small grants to support grass roots recovery initiatives in Scotland. Independent recovery groups and organisations can apply for a one off grant to the value of £1500 to support their work.  The Recovery Initiative Fund is supported by the Scottish Government and managed by the Scottish Recovery Consortium in partnership with Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland.

Are you?

  • A not for profit community organisation focused on championing recovery in the local area?
  • A recovery activism project in early stages of development?
  • An Emerging recovery support group or recovery community?
  • Holding a local recovery event to celebrate Scotland’s National Day of Recovery?

Do you need financial support with:

  • Set up costs for your newly formed recovery group?
  • Ongoing running costs such as room hire, heating and lighting?
  • Travel expenses for people to attend local recovery groups or national recovery events?
  • The delivery of local recovery events?

To apply to the Recovery Initiative Fund your recovery group will need:

  • A management committee or steering group with 4 members or more
  • An organisational bank account or access to one
  • An annual income of less than £50,000
