Grampian Police School Liaison in Moray is a proactive method of tackling national and local policing objectives through early intervention and education.

As a result, strong links have been established between Moray Council Education staff, NHS Grampian and Grampian Police.

Our aim is to deliver a consistent and accurate syllabus of educational inputs at  primary and secondary levels linked to the new National Curriculum for Excellence and the Grampian Police Force Objectives.

The type of inputs given are Substance Misuse, Internet Safety, Bullying, Vandalism, Law and Order, Personal Safety, Diversity and Harmony and Citizenship.

The Moray School Liaison Officer have responsibility for providing inputs to the 9 Secondary schools and their 46 associated Primary feeder schools, a roll of roughly 14,000 pupils. They also attend parents evenings  where a specialised input is required.
