Units

Alcohol is so widely used that people sometimes forget the harm it can cause to physical and mental health.  That’s why it is important that you stick to the sensible drinking guidelines.

  • Women shouldn’t regularly drink more than 2-3 units (equivalent to a 175ml glass of 13% wine) of alcohol a day.
  • Men shouldn’t regularly drink more than 3-4 units (equivalent to a pint and a half of 4% lager).
  • You should also try to have at least two alcohol-free days a week to give our body a rest.
