About Moray ADP

The Moray Alcohol and Drug Partnership is a partnership of all the organisations involved in reducing the harm caused by alcohol and drugs to both individuals and communities across Moray. Its primary purpose is to deliver the Governments strategy in relation to drugs and alcohol by bringing together many different agencies and co-ordinating a partnership approach to tackling substance misuse. Our primary aim is to help our communities find local solutions to local problems.

There are twenty eight members including local authority staff, representatives from health, the police, the prison service, the local voluntary sector and many more.  The Moray CHSCP General Manager, chairs the Partnership.

Moray ADP structure

The Moray ADP Structure includes the Finance and Commissioning Sub-group, Management and Performance Sub-group and the Workforce Development Sub-group.  The Moray ADP also works closely with the Community Safety Partnership.  Various other short-life working groups are established as and when required to address certain issues or deal with individual projects.  Meetings of the Moray ADP are held quarterly to address the issues surrounding substance misuse.
